In the past I have also taught Regents Biology (living Envrionment) and chemistry. I earned a BS in Biology from Hiram College in Ohio, and I received a MS in Education-Secondary Science in Biology from SUNY Brockport. I also manage to spend most summers studying at some institute of higher learning: University of Rochester, RIT... But, my favorite destination is Cornell University where I am very active in CIBT, Cornell Institute for Biology Teachers. Just about every summer I abandon my husband and spend a week studying biology with the Cornell staff. My husband and I think a great vacation is throwing a tent and camping equipment into a car or on a plane and going to a national park for a week or two. Although I have to admit, in the past few years I've forgotten the tent a lot. Our latest adventures have been cycling on rail trails and canal paths... ![]() |
