 About Me:

I've  been teaching biology here at Aquinas Institute in Rochester, NY since 1988.  I teach AP Biology and Anatomy.  In the past I have also taught Regents Biology (living Envrionment) and chemistry.

I earned a BS in Biology from Hiram College in Ohio, and I received  a MS in Education-Secondary Science in  Biology from SUNY Brockport.  I also manage to spend most summers studying at some institute of higher learning: University of Rochester, RIT...   But, my favorite destination is Cornell University where I am very active in CIBT, Cornell Institute for Biology Teachers.  Just about every summer I abandon my husband and spend a week studying biology with the Cornell staff.

My husband and I think a great vacation is throwing a tent and camping equipment into a car or on a plane and going to a national park for a week or two.  Although I have to admit, in the past few years I've forgotten the tent a lot.  Our latest adventures have been cycling on rail trails and canal paths...
