This is my fifth year teaching and my third at Aquinas, where I have taught 8th, 10th, and 11th grades so far and will be teaching 9th grade this year. Each grade level seems to have its own personality, so I look forward to seeing what 9th graders are all about! This year I will also be acting as a Literacy Specialist in the Junior High, where we are all working on teaching our students to be strong readers who are equipped with an arsenal of reading strategies. I am available after school and am happy to meet with students who would like to review or to get extra help. Please don't be shy! If I'm in my room, just pop in! I live in Webster with my husband and my daughter, Charlotte, who was born in March. Back in my pre-Charlotte days (when I had spare time) I enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking. Nowadays, I enjoy leaving the house without spit-up on my shirt and sleeping for more than three continuous hours.  As you can see, Charlotte is always making noise of some kind. |
