Economics is a required course for 12th grade.

Economics R
  A semester course for Regents Level students. It is designed as a survey course which allows the student an initial introduction into the workings of the economy and the decision making which guides it.

Economics 101 
  A full year college level course alternating with AP Government. There are additional readings required to augment the text.  This course generally is conducted more in depth than the regents level course. 
 

The course can be taken for college credit through MCC. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to get a head start on college credits. How very economical!!!
