Fitness Center

Located in the state-of-the-art Robert B. Wegman '37 Fitness Center, the weight room—also known as the fitness room—provides an invaluable resource for our students to build strength and learn discipline with the different programs provided by the strength and conditioning staff.

The 12,000 square foot facility is used year-round for AQ team sports and PE classes and is open to the entire student body as well as Aquinas employees. Over 70% of AQ students participate in sports and our Strategic Plan promotes healthy lifestyles utilizing good nutrition and physical activity.

Leading the Fitness Center is Chris Joyce. His experience offers our young student athletes in-depth knowledge of age-appropriate programs to develop strength, speed and power. The ultimate aim is for all Aquinas students to learn to embrace the “fitness for life” philosophy and reach their full athletic potential.
